A new version of check_zpools, an open source monitoring plugin for ZFS Pools, is available.

Detect and alert when a spare drive is in use in a ZFS Pool

The latest release comes with an important enhancement. The check is now capable of detecting and alerting when a spare drive is in use in a ZFS Pool.

ck@linux:~$ /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_zpools.sh -p ALL -w 25 -c 30
ZFS POOL ALARM: POOL rpool usage is CRITICAL (37%) POOL rpool has 1 spare(s) in use|rpool=37% ssd-pool=23%

Big thanks for the contribution on GitHub to users joyfulrabbit and numericillustration.
